New Guitar Instruction DVD/Video now available!
With this DVD/video I would like to give the guitarist insight into the playing of my music and also the technics needed to do so.
The pieces used are “A Childhood’s Dream”, “Home (Daheim)”, “Go Tell It On the Mountain”, “Scotland the Brave/Dance 2”. All of them in Drop-D tuning, (E,B,G,D,A,D), and all written or arranged in the key of D major. The DQ philosophie or motto: “It is better to be really good in one key, than only mediocre in many keys.”

Here I play each of the pieces at normal speed.
TECHNICS
Here I show playing posture and sitting positions, tremolo, slaps, hammer-ons, pull-offs, damping, slides, and register playing for more tonal colour and effect. With each of these technics I give examples by improvising on the piece “Frere Jacques”.
CHORDS
The chord section is where I show you the chords used in the pieces in their different positions up and down the fretboard.
LEARN TO PLAY
Here each piece is broken down into sections and each section is explained in more detail,and then played slowly.
